Biography :

AFTERDEATH was formed in June 2005. back then the metal scene in Hyderabad was heavily influenced by bands like slayer, sepultura, metallica and maiden. to create awareness of gothic/death/black metal among the metal crowd,AFTERDEATH started sowing the seeds of darkness and mayhem as the first gothic/black/death metal band in the city. Life is short lived-souls live forever which is AFTERDEATH. The band was brought together by 6 metal maniacs who had different tastes in metal. . however the band members had the dream of creating music based on the genre of gothic, black and death. True to their dream was the first own composition “SYMBOL OF ETERNITY” which defines life after death. Following was the next own comp,“FUNERAL FOG” which describes the consequences of war. “BEYOND THE DEAD WINTERS”,the third own comp. describes the dark side of human life. Though the band had done some gigs in colleges,Afterdeath got the major break in the “Campus Rock Idols-2005”,where we set the rock crowd wild. Head banging throughout the show the crowd hailed the band s name, which was a dream come true for Afterdeath.
